Reopening Plan

COVID-19 UPDATES

STEP 1: Online Worship

Through Sunday, May 24th

Using our social media channels of Facebook and YouTube, we will “premiere” the weekly message with an integrated live chat on each of these platforms. Make sure to join us at 10:30 a.m. as we worship from the comfort and safety of our home. And while we may be maintaining social distancing during this time, we can still continue to gather together online and worship together in spirit. The audio version of the message will also be available here or on your favorite podcast platform. Just search for “Full Faith Church Sermons” and you should see our logo and be able to subscribe.

STEP 2: Limited Worship

May 31st - Aug. ?

As our Governor has lifted the recommended restrictions concerning churches and as the COVID-19 numbers are showing an improvement, here in Iowa, we are gearing up to worship in-person. Our in-person services will resume on Pentecost Sunday (May 31st) at 10:30 a.m. with an online replay of the morning’s message at 6:30 p.m. on both Facebook and YouTube. The audio version of the message will also be available here or on your favorite podcast platform.

UPDATE (7/5/20): We have scaled back the online production and are currently providing only an audio replay of the morning messages.

  • Limited service with a focus on the Word and fellowship

    • No children’s church or Sunday school

    • No congregational worship, but we encourage you to sing to the Lord on your drive to church

      • UPDATE (9/15/20): Our adult Sunday school remains the only part of our service that has not resumed.

  • Offering box located near sanctuary entrance

  • No paper bulletins

  • Communion will be made available (as individually packaged supplies arrive)

  • Masks ARE NOT required.

    • However, we will be providing masks for those who would like them and don’t have one.

  • Hand sanitizer is placed throughout the building.

  • Social distancing is strongly encouraged

    • Try to avoid hugs and handshakes

    • Parents, keep your children with you at all times

    • Try to maintain 6-foot CDC recommendations.

  • Church is being cleaned and disinfected before and after service.

  • BYOB (Bring Your Own Bible)

    • To cut down on cleaning, we have removed the Bibles from the chairs.

    • Scriptures will be displayed on the TV.

  • Coffee/Beverages

    • We will not be providing coffee, but you are more than welcome to bring your own.*

      • UPDATE (9/15/20): We are providing coffee and taking extra precaution in preparation.

    • Individual bottles of water will still be available

  • Home groups may resume

    • Make sure to contact your Home Group leader and get the latest information.

      • UPDATE (9/15/20): Home Groups in both Osceola and Melcher have resumed.

For those who may be at a high risk for contracting COVID-19, we would encourage you to continue to worship from home during this time. For those who would prefer to play it safe and continue to worship from home, we completely understand and want you to know that we love you and there is no judgment from us. And for those who are ready to gather together in-person, well… we love you too and are ready to see you.

STEP 3: Full Worship *

Sept. 20 - Current

This is where we start to find our “new normal”. Our morning worship services will be complete with all of the worship elements in place. Our Sunday School will resume at 9:30 a.m with a coffee and fellowship time immediately following (approximately 10:10 a.m). Our morning worship will start at 10:30 a.m. with a time of congregational worship before dismissing our children to Kid’s Church and jumping into our morning message.

  • State and CDC Guidlines

    • During this time we will continue to monitor the recommendations to ensure we have a safe place to worship together.

  • More details to follow

Adult Sunday School has not resumed yet. This is not due to COVID, but rather to a reevaluation of that service. We will keep this website updated with the latest information.

NOTE - As the COVID-19 situation may change, these dates are tentative and our plan is subject to change. Keep checking this page or our Facebook page for the latest information.
